Topic: Led Bumble’s press work in DACH for ten months, acting as person of contact for all consumer, product, and corporate communication.
Goal: Develop and execute the 2025 DACH comms strategy, elevate Bumble’s profile as the women-first dating app, increase and enhance media coverage, streamline processes with marketing teams.
Channels: PR (press pitches, interviews, events), owned and paid media communication in collaboration with marketing teams (e.g. Dinner Convos)
Impact: Multiple press placements in tier 1 outlets, incl. Dating Trends 2025 (e.g. Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ), Politics & Dating Survey (e.g. InStyle), Taboos & Period Sex (e.g. Desired), positioning of Bumble’s spokespeople in key media (e.g. Bumble’s psychologist in Esquire and Bumble’s sexologist in Stern), placement of product updates and features in leading consumer and lifestyle media (e.g. Bumble For Friends in Glamour and Elle).
Despite decreasing societal and media interest in the dating category, Dating Trends 2025 became the most successful Bumble dating trend report to date in terms of coverage and the overall monthly coverage volumes were maintained (YoY comparison), despite equal resource invest.
My responsibilities: Manage proactive and reactive press activities in DACH, oversee budgets and build out media relations, lead strategy development, create and run surveys, develop and pitch press materials, enhance alignment with marketing, manage internal and external stakeholders.

Topic: Press event series in Hamburg, Munich, and Berlin, including interactive panel talks with Bumble’s psychologist and sexologist.
Goal: Bring Bumble top of mind with lifestyle and consumer media, strengthen relationships, update press on Bumble’s current brand and product messaging.
Channels: Events, followed by targeted press pitches.
Impact: Strong engagement with 35 journalists from leading lifestyle and consumer-facing outlets, coverage based on panel talks (e.g. Grazia, Desired).
My responsibilities: Conceptualize event themes and translate them into curated experiences (venue, menu, workshops, panel talks), host and moderate discussions with experts, lead guest selection and media relations, and handle follow-ups and press material distribution.

Topic: Capsule collection co-created with UK designer Paolina Russo exploring the future of shopping, featuring six futuristic upcycled jackets with integrated Klarna Cards.
Goal: Position the Klarna Card in a fashion-forward, culturally relevant context targeting lifestyle audiences.
Channels: PR (press pitches, interviews with Paolina), campaign video, owned media (newsletter, social, in-app).

Impact: Achieved the highest success in lifestyle PR to date, including prominent outlets like Stern, Gala, Brigitte, GQ), and garnered above-average engagement across owned channels.
My responsibilities: Conducting the survey, handling external parties (research institute, website building, asset production, copywriting), managing media relations and paid media activations.

Goal: Support the community, celebrate diversity, enhance Klarna’s image as an inclusive brand.

Goal: Enhance, improve and unify gender inclusivity and sensitivity across the company’s channels and markets.

Topic: Launch communication for the N26 product Crypto in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, and Ireland.
Goal: Raise awareness for N26’s latest offering, strengthen the company’s position as the go-to bank for customers to manage all aspects of their finances.
Channels: PR (press releases, spokesperson positioning), owned channel communication.
Impact: Extensive coverage across business, tech, and finance media, including prominent outlets like Handelsblatt, t3n, finance forward.

Topic: PR, influencer relations, media planning and booking for the Jägermeister Platzhirsch during festival seasons.
Goal: Strengthen Jägermeister’s position as the creator of “the best nights of your life” and boost awareness of Jägermeister Platzhirsch as the place-to-be during festivals.
Channels: PR, influencer and artist collaborations, paid media collaborations.
Impact: Extensive coverage across lifestyle, music, and special interest sectors in radio, TV, online and print publications. Featured in prominent outlets like Focus Online, Rolling Stone, Vice, About Drinks. Planned and executed up to ten influencer collaborations per festival, with a strong focus on storytelling and educating about the Platzhirsch and its programs.
My responsibilities: Planning and managing all earned and paid media activations based on Jägermeister’s business priorities, managing all proactive and reactive press communication, planning and booking paid media collaborations, developing and executing influencer collaborations with strong storytelling focus, managing on-site care for journalists, influencers, and media partners.

Topic: Launch communication for the Airbnb product Experiences incl. press dinner conference positioning GM DACH and exclusive launch event with singer Larry Poppins presenting her upcoming album.
Goal: Raise awareness for Airbnb’s latest product, strengthen Airbnb’s position as the leading platform to connect travelers with locals and local communities.

About me

After over a decade in consumer, product, brand, and corporate communication in agency roles as well as in-house at Klarna and N26, I finally took the plunge and started my own business in 2024. I couldn't be more excited to support your communication efforts.

My expertise spans a variety of industries, including finance, tech, lifestyle, fashion, travel, food & beverage, and music. As a Berlin native, I have a strong media network in the DACH region, along with extensive international comms experience from leading global roles.

In addition to communication, I excel at streamlining processes and energizing teams to achieve exceptional results across markets and channels.

I love animals and see it as my duty to contribute to a world where they are treated with more kindness, compassion, and respect. I actively support this cause in my free time by volunteering at different animal shelters and contributing to various charity organizations. Needless to say, in this way, two wonderful doggies have found their way into my heart and home.

Furthermore, I am passionate about gender equality and inclusivity. As a woman, I’m committed to building a reality where not only people identifying as females but every gender feels safe, seen, and empowered to be their authentic selves and achieve their goals.
